droppin some poetry

okay.. last year i was taking this creative writing class and everyday we had to write about a topic that was on the board.. heres one of our topics and heres the poem i wrote for it!!!
What is the sound of a promise not kept?
what is the sound
of a promise not kept?
it's the shatter of glass
against a wooden floor
the sceeching of your nails
against a chalk board
it's the sound of a nursery
when every baby is crying
the sound of a million mouns
when you know someone is dying.
can you please stop this sound
for it is very displeasing
because all of your promises
should be promises worth keeping.
